
The "Budget Law of the public sector for the year 2021" has been approved
On December 6, the "Public Sector Budget Law for fiscal year 2021" was approved, the amount of which amounts to 183 029 770 158.00 million soles and prioritizes the health and education sectors in the framework of the COVID-19 pandemic. 19. It is specified that up to 2,164.9 million soles will have as a source of financing Resources for Official Credit Operations and up to 11.5 million will come from the Ordinary Resources concept. These resources will be used exclusively to ensure the execution of investments within the framework of the National System for Multi-year Programming and Investment Management. For the sanitation sector, 5,863,453,760 soles (3.2% of the total) have been earmarked to cover urban sanitation and rural sanitation programs. At the macro level, in investments, the Peruvian State is committed to the implementation of the PNIC, whose execution and award of at least four of its most emblematic projects represent 25% of the 99 billion of the PNIC. These projects are those related to the Jorge Chávez International Airport, Metro Line 2, Irrigation Majes Siguas and the Huancayo-Huancavelica Railroad.
